First time of everything!
This is my first time going abroad alone. When I was on the way to University of Zilina, it was the first time I saw a lake covered with ice, the first time to see the snow cover the ground, first time to stand in Europe. All things made me so excited.
In this semester, it is my first time to face so much west people. I felt quite different on their daily life, diet and culture. Also I did many first-time things. The first time to go to bar, first time to have party in kitchen, first time that I couldn’t speak Chinese all day long and the first time drinking beer every day.
Also ESN UNIZA was so nice to help us for everything, and held some event. Like international party, the first time I needed to introduce my country, second time to introduce my country in secondary school and first time to participate waterworks.
I also tried to travel around Europe. Slovakia has such a nice location that I can go to everyplace easily. In Taiwan I don’t like travel but I changed when I was in Europe. I travel to a lot city, like Prague, Budapest, Warsaw, Krakow…….and so on.
Being an exchange student in Zilina will be the best memory in my life. It is a symbol of that I had challenge myself, and make so many good friends from whole the world. I will never regret that I choose Zilina of my life in exchange student even though most of my friends in Taiwan are not familiar to Slovakia.
